Site Identification of the GPS/GLONASS Monument Site Name : Bellevue 157 Four Character ID : Belr Monument Inscription : Nil IERS DOMES Number : 50142M001 CDP Number : Monument Description : Stainless steel pole surrounded by concrete pillar. Located on the third floor rooftop level, Department Of Land Administration Building. Date Installed : 24-OCT-1998 09:00 UT) Geologic Characteristic : Deep sands to depths of 500 metres, some isolated clay and limestone deposits encountered in nearby bore geological profiles. Bedrock Type : Unknown Bedrock Condition : Unknown Fracture Spacing : Unknown Notes : There are 10 boresites within the general region of Bellevue 157 T, established for aquifer monitoring purposes and for which geological drilling profile records are available. The geological profiles from 0m (ground level) to 500m depth reveal deep sands intersecting some thin bands of clay and some minor limestone bands at depths ranging from about 30m down through to 500m. There is no (readily available) information at depths below 500m, nor any information on the underlying bedrock. Additional Information : Nil 2. Site Location Information City or Town : Perth State : Western Australia Country : Australia Tectonic Plate : Australian Approximate Position : GDA94.0 Datum, (based on the GRS 80 ellipsoid and ITRF94.0 frame) X coordinate (m) : -2376743.004m Y coordinate (m) : 4871884.871m Z coordinate (m) : -3349740.300m Latitude (deg) : 31.88641404 S Longitude (deg) : 116.00537689 E Elevation (m) : - 6.245(m) ellipsoidal height Additional Information : The Bellevue 157 is a primary zero order high precision GPS geodetic mark located on the flat concrete roof structure of the third floor level of the DOLA North Node building. The purpose built main mark is a stainless steel pole set in and surrounded by concrete to a height of about 1.2 metres above the concrete floor level. The mark and its location was included in the original 1993 building design specifications, to ensure visibility, stability and permanence. The dual frequency GPS unit is located nearby, some 14 metres away, on a subsidiary mark, Bellevue 157T. Bellevue 157 which is, being A stainless steel pillar plate and 16 mm (5/8") whitworth threaded bolt, secured permanently to the top of the concrete security wall surrounding the rooftop. Both marks are contained within the locked, security monitored DOLA building, North Node. There is good all round visibility to the sky above an elevation of 15o from the horizon. Power and telephone is provided to the rooftop site. 3.
