Agenda for IGS AC Splinter Meeting ---------------------------------------------------- 3 June 2008, 17:40 - 18:30, Ritz-Carlton Fisher Room * AC changes - REMINDER: when ACs make changes, it is vital to report these, preferably in advance. In some cases, comparison of parallel test solutions is recommended. Please notify both: sinex@geod.nrcan.gc.ca igs.acc@noaa.gov * IGU changes & improvements - can AC product deliveries be speeded up? - present delay from last data is 2h 50m - what is a reasonable goal? - is it useful to consider more frequent IGU updates? - how often (from present 6 times per day)? - note that an increase in quantity of deliveries will almost certainly lead to a loss of quality due to heavy work load; quality monitoring will be reduced - will have to emphasize "as is" standard (which is official standard now, but users have come to expect more) - ACC proposes to deweight USU orbit contribution to improve IGU orbit combination - what about USU clock contribution? - what can be done to improve EOP predictions, esp UT1? * IGR changes & improvements - can AC product deliveries be speeded up? - present AC delay is 16h; combined product delivery is 17h - what is a reasonable goal? - should USN orbit contribution be deweighted here too due to incompatible antenna modeling? - USN clocks already rejected from IGR combination - what can be done to improve EOP predictions, esp UT1? * reprocessing issues - will there be reprocessed tropo products? * naming of clock files of variable sampling intervals? * venue for next IGS workshop IGS AC Group Dinner ------------------- 3 June 2008, 19:00 note change of location: The Playwright Irish Pub & Restaurant 1265 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, Florida 305-534-0667 Attendees (33) --------- Z.
