[IGSSTATION-827]. A new Ashtech UZ-12 receiver is now operational at the Arequipa, Peru (AREQ) IGS station. New data is available starting May 21st (2006.141) 00:00 UTC. There is regrettably a data gap back to February 16th (2006.047) 17:00 UTC when the previous receiver failed. An updated log has been submitted to the IGS-CB. We apologize for the long delay in restoring operations and the inconvenience this outage may have caused. Maintenance and operations of the AREQ station is a collaborative effort supported by JPL, UNAVCO, and The Arequipa Tracking Station, with funding provided by NASA's Earth Surface and Interior Focus Area - Science Mission Directorate. Best regards, -Oivind Ruud
