The crack exposes most of the chokering antenna but low elevation observations will still possibly be going through the remains of the dome. Hail is the suspected culprit, but it has not been established when this occurred. The old JPLA radomes are no longer available, and we are working on a solution to replace the dome (very much needed during the winter months) as soon as possible. We will keep the community informed on our efforts, and update logs, etc. accordingly. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Maintenance and operations of the NLIB station is a collaborative effort supported by JPL, UNAVCO, and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, North Liberty Iowa with funding provided by NASA's Earth Surface and Interior Focus Area - Science Mission Directorate. Best regards, -Oivind Ruud
