Ladies and Gentlemen

Kindly excuse me please. I used the
wrong words in my IGS Station Mail.
Instead of "at the request of", kindly
read "on the recommendation of".

The mentioned ASH701073.1 antenna with the
SNOW radome was used since 1998-09-11 in the
REYZ GPS+GLONASS Permanent Tracking Station,
which was an IGS Station until the shut
down 2007-09-19. At the same day my colleagues
removed the antenna and the radome from the
REYZ marker and installed it on the REYK marker
two meters away.

The EPN CB could not accept, because true
absolute calibrations for the ASH701073.1 antenna
in combination with the SNOW radome are not available,
which is a requirement within the EPN.

On the recommendation of the EPN Central
Bureau my colleagues Uwe Hessels
and Klaus Roettcher removed the SNOW radome
from the ASH701073.1 antenna in the
GPS+GLONASS Permanent Tracking Station
in Reykjavik, Iceland, 2007-09-20T16:30Z.

True absolute calibrations for a ASH701073.1 antenna
without the SNOW radome are available.

Together with my colleagues, we express ours
gratitude to the EPN CB for their recommendation
and the quick help.

With best regards
Rudi
