Steve brought a depth of talent and experience to the CB and the IGS during his too brief stay of nearly two years. We will certainly miss him! Steve has always been professional and insightful when it comes to dealing with IGS, and at times complex issues and situations. We here at JPL, and I know many of you in the IGS community, really enjoy working with him. He is a quick wit with a creative mind that is always coming up with new ideas, his great sense of humor keeps the working relationships enjoyable, and during our travels to many places, Steve is a great ambassador for the IGS. He did a great job in supporting the establishment of the IGS Infrastructure Committee and it will be difficult to replace him. We are fortunate that, although departing his full time IGS position, we have arranged to retain him on staff on an as needed basis, and depending on what time he might have available as he pursues a new endeavor.
