Drewes - IAG Secretary General IAG Scientific Assembly 2009, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 31 August - 4 September 2009 The website for the IAG 2009 Scientific Assembly (http://iag2009.com.ar/) has been recently compromised by hackers. This was a very serious situation and as soon as it was discovered, the site had to be taken down in order to keep the server's and user's security. The LOC and their computer support kept working hard for corrective actions and to prevent future attacks. Today they have informed that the site is now safe to use. Due to the problems with the IAG Website, the deadline for abstract submission and for grant applications has been extended up to and inclusive 20 February 2009. Please check the IAG2009 Website for the latest information on the IAG2009 Scientific Assembly. For any doubt or suggestion you might have, please do not hesitate to contact the IAG2009 Webmaster Federico Primomo at fede2knet@gmail.com or admin@iag2009.com.ar. Please send your abstract and registration now and note, that according to the IAG Bylaws there is a registration fee reduction for IAG members (50 USD for full members, 30 USD for student members) who paid the membership fee for 2009. Please also note that there is limited availability for rooms at the venue in the INTERCONTINENTAL Hotel at the internet rate, so you should reserve in time. Looking forward to see you in Buenos Aires IAG Office IAG2009 Local Organizing Committee IAG2009 Scientific Committee [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type text/x-vcard which had a name of iag.vcf]
