You may visit the Workshop Web Page at: http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/IGSWorkshop2008/ where we will maintain the Workshop Schedule, and other information, as they evolve. NGS is in the final stages of completing out contract with the host hotel. When that is finished, we will send out an email announcement so you can go to the Web Page and link to the hotel to make your reservations. The Workshop will be held at a resort hotel located on the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants and other services. We have reserved a block of rooms at the host hotel at an extremely favorable rate. The reduced rate will also be available for 2 days before and after the meeting as well for those who would like to spend a little more time. We would like all participants to stay at the same hotel where we are meeting to further promote our discussions, so please make your reservations there as soon as that becomes available. In the meantime, please look over the planned agenda at the Website. If you would like to make a contribution to any of the sessions, please let those session co-chairs know. If you would like to present a poster on any of the session topics or any other topic please let the relevant session co-chairs know or else email Jim Ray and myself. We anticipate a lively workshop and a large attendance and look forward to seeing you all in Miami Beach. ----------------------------------------------------------- Dr. Gerald L.
