The session description is below. Abstracts are due Sept. 6th. Thank you and our apologies for multiple posts. Joco F Galera Monico We would also like to ask you to send this information to those that you consider may be interested in this topic. Information is available at http://www.agu.org/meetings/fm07/. Description: The main focus of this session is to discuss the ionosphere and troposphere effects on the GNSS signals, as well as current techniques to model and mitigate such effects. Contributions related to GPS Meteorology (ground and space based), Numerical Weather Models for troposphere refraction mitigation, troposphere mapping functions and related topics are welcome. Concerning the upper atmosphere, we expect contributions in the field of monitoring, forecasting, modeling and mitigating ionospheric phenomena such as Ionospheric scintillation, traveling ionospheric disturbances, steep TEC gradients, rapid TEC variations and TEC depletions. Studies related to high order ionosphere errors affecting high accuracy and real-time GNSS techniques, as well as their effects on reference frame for applications in geodetic positioning and navigation are also of interest to this session.
