In order to allow users to check the uploaded files, if they like to do so, the event manager ignores now the filenames that start with "_", e.g., "_WTZR2100.05D.Z". Users may upload data files with the prefix "_", check the files as they want to do and then rename the files. A corresponding procedure could look like follows: .... put wtzr2100.05d.Z _wtzr2100.05d.Z ls _wtzr2100.05d.Z rename _wtrz2100.05d.Z wtzr2100.05d.Z ... The file will then be moved after "rename" immediately. Please note: This approach will cause a small additional delay in the data transfer and it is not requested from our data center. You may decide by yourself. Some users that upload data to BKG send a complementary "*flg" - file, which indicates that the file upload is now finished. From our point of view it is no longer needed, because the end of ftp is now checked by or event manager. But on the other hand flg-files cause no problems for our system.
