These include advances in technology that improve the accuracy, availability, and utility of retrieved atmospheric properties, new scientific insights or operational benefits gained with space-geodetic techniques, advances in assimilation techniques, and the exploration of novel applications fields for sensing technologies. Experimental results assessing and validating the performance and utility of recently launched sensor platforms, such as CHAMP, GRACE, and Jason-1, are also encouraged. The deadline for submission of abstracts is JANUARY 15, 2003. Information regarding the conference and the submission of abstracts may be found at: http://www.copernicus.org/egsagueug/index.html Best regards, Yoaz Bar-Sever Tonie van Dam Andrea Walpersdorf
