Dear Colleagues,

Please be advised that due to scheduled local survey work, 
it is anticipated that the GPS receiver at Fairbanks, Alaska 
(IGS sitename FAIR) will be turned off for a significant
portion of the UTC day on 15sep2001. The antenna will be
disturbed (removed and then replaced with utmost care) 
in support of this survey. It is possible that the survey 
schedule and accompanying data outage period may change, 
but advance notification prior to the weekend seemed prudent.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused by this outage and
(hopefully minimal) disturbance.
