We discovered after a long period of testing that the steering feature of the internal clock of the TurboRogue receiver S/N 224 is failing again after several repairs at Allen Osborne Associates. This also occurred at this station with receiver S/N 229 at the time it was installed there. This receiver has now been moved to station KOSG where it is operating quite well connected to an external frequency standard and the internal one disabled. We are now seeking either for a similar solution for NTUS or replace it temporarily by another one during its repair or replace it by a complete different instrument. We are in discussion with AOA and await their suggestions. We hope to bring NTUS as soon as possible into operation again. We really appologize for this inconvenience. **************************************************************************** Danny van Loon Delft Institute for Earth Oriented Space Research (DEOS) Delft University of Technology (DUT) Thijsseweg 11 2629 JA Delft The Netherlands Tel. +31 15 2788137/ +31 570 672720 Fax. +31 570 671628 Mobile phone: +31 6 54944637 E-mail: vanloon@geo.tudelft.nl
