Ladies and Gentlemen,

Our colleagues installed a new
GPS + GLONASS System (ASHTECH
Z18) in O'Higgins / Antarctica.

Four character ID: OHIZ.
DOMES Number: 66008M004.

This ASHTECH Z 18 GPS + GLONASS
system operates since 09-FEB-2001,
01:00 UT. In addition and parallel to the
OHIG GPS Permanent Tracking System
(AOA SNR-8000 ACT or ROGUE SNR-
8000).

The System is a stand-alone-system during
the long Antarctican-Winter. Only for
VLBI-Observation-Sessions operators
travel to O'Higgins during the short
Antarctican-"Summer".

The OHIZ Site Information Form will follow
soon.
