The topics of the symposium cover all the relevant space techniques applied in geodetic research and applications such as - Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI), - Satelite/Lunar Laser Ranging (SLR/LLR), - GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO/DORIS, - Satellite Altimetry, Interferometry and new technologies. Objectives are to provide information on the state of the art, trends and to give prospects for each of the techniques. Contributions are solicited on technology developments, on operation experiences/refinements and results. Conveners of the symposium "Evolving space geodesy techniques" are: Coordinating Convener: W. Schlueter (schlueter@wettzell.ifag.de) VLBI Convener: A. Nothnagel (nothnagel@uni-bonn.de) Co-Convener: C. Ma (cma@virgo.gsfc.nasa.gov) SLR/LLR Convener: E.
