Subject:  Current status of CDDIS computer cddisa.gsfc.nasa.gov

Sometime on Saturday September 16 the CDDIS computer
cddisa.gsfc.nasa.gov went down.  At this time, the computer is back
on-line and the CDDIS staff is busy catching up on all data
deliveries.  At this time the cause for the system failure is still
under investigation.  We regret any inconvenience the outage has
caused our user community.
