The data communication with the station has been changed from dial-up modems to Internet in order to allow a reliable and cost efficient download procedure. The AOA SNR-12 ACT receiver is currently running firmware 3.3.32.2. To avoid the frequent auto-resets that this firmware causes while commanding the receiver the downloading script has been modified to send the commands very slowly to the comm port. This can relieve the problem till a new firmware is loaded. Malindi will also be upgraded shortly with a new receiver and with a similar downloading procedure to make 1-hour data available. Best regards.
