Subject: Malindi data lost

On days 25 and 26/01/97 the dial up modem located
at Malindi did not respond to the several attempts 
to connect that were performed. On 27/01/97 we have 
resumed communications and found that the GPS system
did not collect any data from days 24 and 25/01/97.
We suspect that a power break has been the reason for
the problems. 

We apologize for any inconvenience.
