If you find anything absent or stated incorrectly, please inform us at igscb@igscb.jpl.nasa.gov . LEO Pilot Project Action Items from Potsdam meeting February 2001 ==================================== '*' indicates to whom the Action Item is assigned. SAC-C -------------------------------- SAC-C voluntary PP data set testing using 30 days data available via JPL from: ftp://sideshow.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/genesis/level0/sac-c/Documents/README.010123 or via: http://genesis.jpl.nasa.gov/html/data-query.shtml Determine SAC-C S/C properties, data details, etc., develop contacts Check if SAC-C is available on downlink? What is latency of SAC-C data? * T. Yunck, JPL 2/15 LEO AAC Coordination and Analysis Issues -------------------------------------------------------- - Identify responsible technical point of contact 3/31/01 - Develop processing standards (CHAMP - C. Reigber, JASON, GRACE) - Exchange Format for orbit comparisons (granularity), consider SP3 modifications - LEO AAC data sheets, similar to IGS AC forms at CB (extension of current) - Define arc length, parameterization (mission dependent) - Orbit Ccomparisons, test definitions and descriptions - Specify data period for processing - -LEO receiver clock solution and comparisons, compare parameters - Inform ILRS about LEO processing period, use SLR for external validation ESOC identified as lead. * J. Dow & TBA ACC (ESOC identified as lead; ACC to be named). Availability of IGS higher rate clocks - 30s or 10s *R. Weber & LEO ACC Establish LEO PP mail *IGS CB, 2/14 Check Lagrange on SAC-C data status and availability * F. Vespe (2/15) Formats --------------------------------------- Proposed formats: RINEX & Auxiliary File Message to IGS ACs and LEO PP AACs requesting review and comments, discussion by 2/23 (RINEX for flight and ground GPS agreed to) Include file-naming convention for 15-min. HR 1s ground net files *W. Gurtner, 3/01 Does the clock RINEX format handle LEO clocks? (ftp://igscb.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/data/format/rinex_clock.txt) *J. Zumberge Ground Network and Data Flow --------------------------------------- Review format of CHAMP orbit (see sample data set website for description) Network maps and station characteristics should be submitted to IGS Network Coordinator to generate PP maps and station lists *A. Moore, 2/23 The default for high-rate stations is to format 1s data in 15 minutes files No data distribution restrictions on this data HR data will remain online for duration of project for the defined project validation dataset Verify number of stations and determine retention capacity for ongoing project access *C. Noll, 5/1 Ground 1s default HR stations, consider case by case other intervals 3s, 5s, 10s *LEO AAC, TBD Flight Data, Data Flow and Data Center Actions ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Blackjack data - same for CHAMP, GRACE and SAC-C 10s for POD - use RINEX exchange format 1s and 50hz for Radio Occultation (Comment: Is in my opinions not part of LEO PP) Handling of HR flight data - consider throughout duration of PP, review RINEX capabilities 1-day flight data files for PP, CHAMP * Collective review at next meeting. Data center coordination, develop listings of data access, content and availability *C. Noll lead, B. Ritschel, T, Yunck, D. Stowers, A. Moore 4/1 (dependent on data formats and other AI above) 4/1 The Network Coordinator for the project is designated as the IGS Network coordinator, A. Moore. Organize ground network and perform a demonstration of HR subnetwork *A. Moore, ~ mid-April ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Angelyn W.
