Subject: CSIR Year 2000 problem

Dear Colleagues

As is the case with NPLC and BIPD, CSIR is experiencing Year 2000 problems. Please accept my apology for the lack of data from the CSIR 3S Navigation R100\30T receiver. Since Jan 5, when the receiver was reset (after failing on January 1, 2000), the long
est uptime experienced has been less than 4 hours. (A reset is typically required every 2 hours.)

I will send a message as soon as the receiver is fully functional again. Until such time all data from CSIR must please be ignored.

Kind regards

Louis Marais
