Subject: CSIR receiver failure on January 1, 2000

Dear Colleagues,

Our 3S Navigation R100-30T, CSIR, was restarted this morning following a failure on January 1, 2000, when it stopped tracking satellites at approximately 12:30 UT.

After resetting this morning it seems to be running normally.

Please accept my apology for any inconvenience caused by the loss of data.

Kind regards

Louis Marais
