Dear colleagues,
I have to forward the sadly information, that

Prof. Vadim A. Salischev

died last friday.

He was one of the great fathers of the Russian GLONASS system. Vadim
Salischev has been working with the Russian Institute for Space Device
Engineering in Moscow for a long time. Many people know him as an
admirable person and a great scientist. The death of Prof. Salischev is
a great lost for all involved satellite navigation purposes.
