Space Technology and Disaster Management Workshop in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia ? May 17th is the final date to send in your Application Form. 2. Water Resource Management and Desertification Control ? An Eurisy Symposium to be held in Rabat, Morocco 12-13 September. Participation is limited and will be dealt with on a 'first-come, first-served' basis. 3. Space Generation Summit ? The SGS are seeking young international delegates, specially from Africa, to participate in the preparation and also take part in the next meeting which will be held in Houston 11-13 October. Closing date for application is April 30th. 4. Unpaid Internship OOSA ? Similar to the previous internship offered there is one more opportunity available for someone interested in getting involved in supporting the Asia and the Pacific workshop. The Eurisy Association, in co-operation with the Centre Royal de Télédétection Spatiale of Morocco, ESA, CNES and UNESCO, is organising the above symposium which will take place in Rabat on 12-13 September 2002. Deadline April 30th The Space Generation Summit is a two-and-a-half day meeting that will gather 200 young international delegates to refine and articulate a youth vision on the future of space activities. The organisers are particularly keen to identify delegates from African countries. It is being held in conjunction with the World Space Congress - the largest gathering of space scientists for a decade - and builds on the work of the Space Generation Forum of the Third UN Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space UNISPACE III The SGS will take full advantage of the unique opportunities that WSC offers to present a unified global youth vision on space issues to world leaders.
